Electrical
Electrical contractor suspended on Google
Electrical contracting is licensed in most states, which gives electricians an advantage in an appeal: a public license record is hard evidence that the business is real. Suspensions still happen, usually because of how the profile is set up rather than whether the business exists.
Common electrical triggers
- Keywords in the name: "Electrician Near Me," "Licensed Electrician," a city name, or "Generator Installation" added to the business name.
- A shown address that is not a staffed, signed shop.
- License name mismatch: the license is held under the master electrician's name or a different entity, and the profile uses a trade name with nothing linking the two.
- Duplicate profiles across the cities you serve.
- Recent edits to name, address or categories.
What a electrical appeal needs
Electricians have strong evidence available, but only if the license record, the registered entity and the profile name connect. When the license sits under the master electrician's name and the profile uses a trade name, that gap has to be closed before the appeal goes in.

Common questions
- Is my electrical license enough to get reinstated?
- It is strong evidence, but only if the name on the license record matches the profile name or you also send a registration or DBA filing that links them. Fix the profile issue that caused the suspension first; the license proves the business is real, not that the profile follows the rules.
