Dental practice suspended on Google

Updated November 4, 2026

Dental offices usually have the cleanest case for reinstatement: a fixed office, a board license that anyone can look up, and signage. Suspensions still happen, mostly because of how the practice and its dentists are set up on Google.

What a dental appeal needs

Dental offices usually have strong proof, a board license and a signed suite, but the practice and practitioner profiles have to be set up the way Google expects first, and the address has to match the lease exactly.

Common questions

Can each dentist in our practice have a Google profile?
Yes, if they work in a public-facing role and can be contacted at the practice during stated hours. Google says the practice gets its own location profile and each practitioner's profile is named only after that practitioner. Hygienists and support staff should not have their own profiles.
We moved to a new suite and got suspended. Why?
An address edit makes Google re-check the location. If the suite number on the profile does not match your lease and signage, or the new suite is not signed yet, the profile can be suspended until you prove it.
